The apartment forms part of an officially recognised tourist complex with hotel-tourism designation. It may therefore not be used as a conventional permanent residence or registered as an ordinary primary home. The property is subject to the resort’s central tourist-operation system. As the owner, you may stay in the apartment during agreed periods, in accordance with the operating agreement and the internal rules of the resort. During the remaining periods, the apartment is professionally marketed and rented to holiday guests by the appointed resort operator. The operator handles reservations, guest reception, cleaning, maintenance and day-to-day management. This allows the owner to combine personal stays in Tenerife with a professionally managed tourist investment, without having to manage the holiday rentals personally.
